Once upon a time in the cold, I joined a dive club in The Netherlands because I wanted to learn how to dive. After months of rehearsing swimming and snorkelling skills, learning every detail of scuba equipment and finally even doing skills with the scuba equipment, I had the guts to ask my instructor for an open water dive. It was made very clear to me that I was not ready for that and would not be so for several months at least. My next holiday I spent on Isla Margarita and guess what…In 4 days I made my PADI Open Water Diver certification and I have been diving ever since. By now 15 years have passed, I certified hundreds of divers and I own and manage Voodoo Divers. I still enjoy every single day at work and the wonderful under water world we can open up to our guests.
